John,
Last week, Trump signed an executive order that will allow federal agencies to bypass core environmental laws, putting our health and safety at risk.
While communities are coming together around the country against systemic racism and injustice, Trump is quickly making another tyrannical act by rolling back core environmental laws, such as the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), in order to approve large-scale infrastructure projects like fossil fuel mining and pipelines in a phony response to the COVID-19 economic crisis.
This action is an egregious attempt to bail out the failing fossil fuel industry by allowing it to completely bypass benchmark environmental rules at a moment when Trump thinks no one is paying attention. Simply put, Trump is trying to do by executive order what he could never accomplish through our democratic processes. We can stop him, though.
We’re sounding the alarm to stop this major new attack against public health and the stable climate we need to live. Make a donation today to help fight back.

NEPA is one of our country’s fundamental public health and environmental protection tools. Without it, air pollution and drinking water contamination would be rampant from coast to coast. Allowing the fossil fuel industry to dig, drill and frack without environmental review amounts to a targeted strike on people of color and low-income communities that are most likely to be impacted by these hazardous practices. It is a strike on environmental justice, climate stability and a livable planet.
We’re stepping up to do all in our power to stop this malicious attack, and others, on our environment and communities — in the courts, in Congress and through organizing with you John. We won’t stop until Trump is stopped. Will you join us?

Trump's recent executive order is only making the climate crisis and environmental injustice even worse. We need a leader who stands for the interests of all communities, not an authoritarian “wanna-be dictator” who only listens to the interests of bloated fossil fuel billionaires and his own ego.
Join us now. Your donations are what help us win the fights others think are unwinnable.
Make an emergency gift to stop this malicious attack on our environment and our communities.
