Friend,

Donald Trump launched an attack on ActBlue, the main Democratic fundraising platform that the Michigan Democratic Party relies on.

Why is he doing this?

To be blunt, Trump wants to make it harder for supporters like you to contribute to movements like the Michigan Democratic Party so he can silence his opponents in order to put more money into the pockets of billionaires like Elon Musk.

Trump’s “presidential memorandum" to investigate ActBlue will launch a full-blown assault on the grassroots movement of the Democratic Party.

We need to fight back and show Trump that his scare tactics won’t work on us. Will you make a contribution to the Michigan Democratic Party right now so we can keep up our momentum and fight back against Trump, who is trying to silence our movement?

If we’re going to stand any chance at resisting Trump’s regime, we need to organize now to build our momentum and bring a blue wave to Michigan next year. That organizing is going to take serious resources, especially as Trump tries to block us from raising money.

We don’t know how long ActBlue will be able to process your support into tangible resources to fuel our movement, which is why I’m asking you to rush a contribution today.

Thanks for standing with us,

Curtis Hertel
Chair of the Michigan Democratic Party
