Have you noticed who we’re missing from the conversation about reproductive justice? Too often, reproductive justice is deemed as just a “women’s issue.” We know it’s way more than that, though - RJ is about autonomy, freedom, and control over our bodies and lives. And that impacts all* of us, from birthing people to children to men, and including men of color. Our movement has worked incredibly hard to ensure that people have rights and access to abortion and reproductive care, but along the way, we’ve often overlooked our men and their role in our work. The far right has noticed. It’s time we do something about it. All* Above All is launching a new series on men of color and reproductive justice. We’re diving deep into the intersections of patriarchy, gender, and politics, starting with a conversation with two of our very own staff members. |
