This is the largest Congressional district in the entire country, and social distancing measures mean we can’t make as many in-person campaign stops as we had hoped. That’s why we’re investing in digital tools to make sure every voter across the state hears Alyse’s message for change. Can you help cover the costs by chipping in today?

Here are just a few of the tools we’re using to keep this campaign running safely and effectively.

- The automated phone system that allows us to double the number of calls we make in an hour costs $150 per month.

- Since broadband isn’t equal across Alaska, we rely heavily on a texting tool that helps us contact 10,000 Alaskans a month. That costs $500 each month.

- We need to print out materials about Alyse and this race for our supporters across the state. The cost of that printing is $50 per month.

- Our premium Zoom account that allows us to host up to 100 volunteers costs $100 each month and to host over 100 volunteers, it costs $150 each month. Here is a snapshot from last month's training call with 98 volunteers. We definitely need the extra capacity to continue to mobilize!

As you can see, building a grassroots movement isn’t just some abstract concept. It takes hard work, creativity, and money.

So far, our hard work has made this one of the top races in the country, and we’ve outraised Don Young three quarters in a row. Our creativity during these unprecedented times is receiving media attention and serving as a model for other campaigns. Now, we need the money to keep it all going.
