Mark and his Democratic colleagues in Congress are moving fast
to pass the Justice in Policing Act but they need your help.

Trump Republicans are going to stand in the way of this
legislation. They are going to try to stop us from making the
reforms that MUST be made to put an end to police brutality. We
cannot let them win -- not now.

Will you take action today to confront the racism that has been
so deeply sowed in the fabric of American history by signing on
to support the Justice in Policing Act?

We need your voice.

Please, take action

Here's the hard truth we all face now: the deaths of George
Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery were not random
occurrences. They are a result of hundreds of years of systemic
racism and discrimination perpetuated by an institution that has
been given far too much power and few limitations.

Condemning these actions isn't enough, we need to take action
and create change. Which is why I am proud to announce that I am
co-sponsoring the Justice in Policing Act of 2020.

This legislation will ban the use of chokeholds, no-knock
warrants, require reports on the use of force, and create
substantive reforms to hold police officers accountable. To
implement these reforms quickly, we need your support.

Will you add your name here to urge Congress to pass the Justice
in Policing Act immediately?

There have been many efforts to distract us from the pain that
Black Americans are facing at the hands of law enforcement.

Nonetheless, I am redoubling my own education on the experience
of Black Americans and I urge you to do the same. We must keep
learning. Keep listening. And, keep demanding change.

Will you show your support of the Justice in Policing Act?

This bill is one of the many steps I plan to take to combat
structural racism. Much more work still needs to be done.

We can't stay silent. Stand with me.
