The Nottingham International Market is back at Old Market Square until Sunday. There is a great selection of arts, crafts and unique gifts from across the globe, including a range of jewellery, clothing, fairtrade wooden carvings, and handmade ceramics.

For street food fans there's a tempting variety of continental and international flavours to sample, and other food offerings such as traditional bakery products, cheeses, Turkish nuts, French crepes and churros, gelato sorbets, cheesecake, and fudge.

Artists, makers and crafters are emerging from their winter hideaways with new magic to share! This vibrant mini festival for Beltane features an array of more than 80 traders, storytellers, music, and delicious food and drink.

Stalls include Divine Realm Gifts, Forest Fables Decor, Kavana Emporium, Neurodesigned, Luna Magik, and many more. The free event, open from 12pm-6pm, will also feature the Nottingham Shakespeare Company and Cadence Noir.

The line-up for the Foolhardy Folk Festival, curated by acclaimed English folk singer Beans on Toast, sees him bringing some of his favourite performers to join him for an uplifting celebration of folk music at Nottingham Arboretum.

Performing on the bandstand will be Grace Petrie, The Young’uns, Funke and the Two Tone Baby, Ruth Lyon, Nick Parker, Ben Brown, Ann Liu Cannon, Leo Baby, Emily Alice... and of course Beans on Toast himself!

Once again, it will be a family-friendly celebration of music, trees and revelry. Alongside the wonderful music, there will be a beer festival, street food vendors, and kids corner.

It's the final weekend of the temporary exhibition Impressions at Nottingham Castle. The collection takes the lead from four Impressionist artists - Claude Monet (1840-1926), Camille Pissarro (1830-1903), Auguste Renoir (1841-1919) and Alfred Sisley (1839-1899) - that helped to define the artistic movement known as Impressionism.

Don't miss your chance to see these masterpieces, on loan from the Clark Institute (Massachusetts, USA) displayed alongside works from Nottingham's own collection, carefully selected by curators and inspired by the themes explored in these incredible paintings.
