Dear Friend,

This May Day, working people across the DMV are taking their demands to the streets — and we’re proud to stand with them.

From transit workers to restaurant staff, teachers to federal employees, we are uniting behind a simple truth: our families matter more than billionaire profits. On May 1st, 2025, join us at “FOR THE WORKERS, NOT THE BILLIONAIRES” May Day Solidarity Rally as we fight back against the corporate attacks on our unions, our wages, our healthcare, and our dignity.

This year’s rally is about more than just one group of workers — it’s about all of us.
We’re rallying alongside UNITE HERE Local 25 restaurant workers and workers across the region to defend our right to organize and demand a future where labor rights come before corporate greed.

We say NO to union-busters like Elon Musk and Stephen Starr.
We say YES to building labor power in every shop, school, restaurant, and federal building.
We are the many. They are the few.

Whether we were born here or migrated here, we as working people keep this country running and have a shared fight for our rights, safety, and futures. When one of us is attacked, we all are under attack. Immigrants are tax-paying hard workers, contributing billions of dollars to the economy daily. The attempts to target, scapegoat, and disappear immigrants from the United States harm us all.
