Hi team,

Were it not for strong women in my life, I would not be where I am today. My mother passed away when I was just a kid, so from a young age, I have always looked up to my three sisters Eva, Rosie, and Mary. They instilled in me the values of hard work and integrity and taught me so much -- and still do to this day!

So today, on the anniversary of the enactment of the Equal Pay Act of 1963, I’m dismayed that women only earn 81 cents on the dollar compared to men. That gap is even wider for women of color.

I’m not prepared to let our GOP opponent Claudia Tenney -- who has voted against equal pay for equal work -- stop us from lifting up women. But Tenney has special interests and corporate donors bankrolling her campaign, and I need your help defending this district.

Can you chip in a few dollars today to ensure that we can grow our campaign and keep fighting for equal pay in Congress? Any amount will help us stop Claudia Tenney from rolling us back.

One of the first bills I passed when I got to Congress was the Paycheck Fairness Act. This was another important step towards ending wage discrimination, but until we close the wage gap for good, our work is unfinished.

Our sisters, mothers, and daughters should have the same opportunities as our brothers, our fathers, and our sons -- regardless of their gender.

Standing with women across America each and every day,

-- Anthony
