Friend, 

I’ve been proud to serve as the Attorney General of Texas since 2015. And in my role, protecting the people of Texas has always been my priority and sworn responsibility.  

Political leadership – in any office - requires standing on principle and acting forcefully, when necessary…  

That’s why I made sure Texas was the first state to sue the Biden administration two days after the inauguration in 2021. Biden had ordered a lawless, unconstitutional 100-day deportation freeze that put Texans in danger and facing serious financial harm.  

We won in court.  

That legal fight was just the start of the real battle between the rule of law and a new kind of vicious, left-wing lawfare that seeks to force its miserable agenda on all of us. This is the most serious fight we are facing as a Nation. To win, we will need a vigorous, conservative Senate that understands this ideological battlefield, knows what’s at stake, and, most importantly, one that knows how to FIGHT.  

Now I’m running for United States Senate in Texas to lead the fight against the radical left and ensure that Texas and all of America is protected from its toxic and unlawful agenda.
