One day every year begins with universal hope. One glorious day.
It’s called the NFL Draft.
Held this year in Green Bay, WI, the 90th NFL Draft will commence this evening at 8pm, and, for a brief window, fans of even the loserest of loser teams will have a glimmer of hope. The Draft will then continue over Friday and Saturday.
Maybe, maybe their team will make a great pick – or series of picks – that alters the course of their franchise. The lead-up, the mock drafts, and every fan’s internal wishing of who they would pick if only they were the General Manager of their team provides a ray of sunshine into an otherwise dark fandom.
I would know. I’m a Raiders fan.
For some teams, they will walk away from the Draft “winners,” and their fanbase can begin projecting future wins and discussing just how good they will be as a result of their self or pundit assessed “good drafting.” Other teams, will shake their heads and lament that, from their couch and with no training, they would have guided their team to Draft glory better than the highly paid front office of their preferred franchise.
I know all-too-well about the latter feeling. I’m a Raiders fan. (In fact, a little after 9:00pm, I’m counting on all my hope for the Draft weekend having already evaporated).
At the core of why we love the NFL Draft is a serious belief that is born out over time: great players, make great franchises, win games, and deliver championships.
Similarly, this concept affects our work in two primary ways:
Great called-by-God team members, form a great team, makes a great organization, delivers transformative mission.
Great leaders, win elections, serve with honor and integrity, deliver transformative results for our communities, state, and nation.
Over the coming months, a huge amount of my focus is on those two areas – building a great team at Frontline and envisioning and working toward a strong slate of leaders that we can rally behind in 2026 to lead our state moving forward.
Transparently, building the right team has been one of the most challenging aspects of this job. Success in this work requires someone who is called and committed, and what we are trying to build is unprecedented in our state. Over the last nearly-four-years, we have seen God use this ministry in incredible ways, but we have also had Him teach us some things.
By His grace, we have greater internal alignment and clarity than every before, and the Lord has done an amazing work – pruning our ministry and calling the right people into place.
In the coming months, we are working to onboard 2-3 new team members that will dramatically enhance our Church Ambassador Network, statewide advocacy, training, and elections capacities.
Heading into 2026, we believe we have identified the right roles and right people to “draft” into our ministry. To help us fund this effort, please consider a tax-deductible contribution to our $260,000 goal! [[link removed]]
Increasing internal capacities is done with a big goal in mind – impacting the 2026 election.
Every announcement by a leftist candidate underscores a very clear reality: the future of Georgia is at stake. The nation will, once again, look to the Peach State next November as we elect our statewide constitutional officers, our entire General Assembly, our congressional delegation, and one United States Senate seat.
Waiting until next fall – or just hoping we like a slate of nominated candidates – is not an option. Frontline is embarking on a full-scale effort to vet candidates, bring them before you, shape the narrative of the race, and weigh in to affect the outcomes.
Can we count on you to make a non-tax deductible gift to our Elections Fund today? [[link removed]]
Just like the impact the NFL Draft has on a franchise, how we select personnel – to join our Frontline team and to lead our state and nation – will have an unparalleled effect on our ability to achieve results.
Please pray for us as we discern who God is calling us to join us and who He is raising up to lead. And, please come alongside and support us in any way you feel led.
(And, yes, please pray for me and the Draft. Rumors are that the Raiders are really going to blow it with the #6 pick.)
For His Glory,
Cole Muzio
