Over the past 2 weeks, I’ve been busy in the district attending rallies, hosting town halls, and joining round tables to listen and answer questions around big issues like rising costs and child care. I want to meet with as many people in the district as possible and hear the concerns, stories, and questions you have.

During this time, I’ve heard and seen so many different emotions, from anger to sadness, and from fear to passion. Regardless of how people across the district are feeling, one thing is for certain: we are coming together to get to work, and we aren’t backing down.

As the Trump administration continues to threaten critical programs and attack citizens’ rights to public education, health care, and so much more, people across the district, Michigan, and the country are showing how powerful we are when we work together.

When I get back to D.C. next week, I’m taking not only people’s concerns and stories, but also their motivation and passion to fight for one another. I won’t back down from President Trump and the GOP’s threats, even though I know I have a target on my back.
