We're rolling out our first official wave of endorsements in 2020 – and we could not be more excited! These diverse, dedicated and engaged candidates represent the change our nation needs.

We’re about to ask you to contribute to electing the next Black wave – but first, please let us explain why it's so important:

What we do right now will define the future of our democracy, friend. The world is waking up to the injustices that Black Americans have been experiencing for centuries. This month, we saw all 50 states and countries across the world hold Black Lives Matter protests – making this moment the most widespread civil rights moment in history. We have to make sure we keep up the momentum in this fight for change.

With nearly 50 candidates endorsed in our first wave, please take a moment to look at these leaders and then rush support to The Collective so we can continue to work on electing the next Black wave.

When we elect Black leaders, our voices are heard, and our democracy is stronger because of it. Black lawmakers like Cory Booker, Kamala Harris, Ayanna Pressley, and Hakeem Jeffries are leading the call for massive reforms in our criminal justice system like banning police chokeholds and creating a task force regarding police brutality.

These reforms are long overdue, and this is just the start. Each of us needs to recognize the power and responsibility we have to make change. So please, rush support to our fund today to help us elect the next wave of Black leaders.
