This could be the last chance to stand for the Mashco Piro. Help pressure logging companies and the FSC and prevent the invasion of their forest.

Dear Jack,
A decision is imminent in a case with major implications for the survival of the world’s largest uncontacted people – the Mashco Piro of Peru.
This could well be the last chance to lobby those responsible – please take action today.
Yes, I'll take action ([link removed])
A Peruvian logging company called Canales Tahuamanu has been operating for decades inside the Mashco Piro’s territory.
The logging industry not only destroys the forest the Mashco Piro depend on, it also bulldozes roads deep into the forest, giving outsiders an easy route into the Mashco Piro’s home – often with deadly consequences.
In 2024, a huge public campaign by Survival International’s supporters brought a key victory: the temporary suspension of Canales Tahuamanu’s FSC certification.
I'll support the Mashco Piro ([link removed])
The FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certifies timber as ethically and environmentally sustainable and its certification is hugely valuable, opening up many markets that would otherwise be closed.
The FSC will decide in May whether to make this suspension permanent. Jack, please urge them to do so – no timber that’s taken from the territory of uncontacted Indigenous people should be classed as ethical or sustainable.
I'll stand for Indigenous rights ([link removed])
There have already been several fatal encounters between logging workers and the Mashco Piro, who are extremely vulnerable to infections such as colds or flu that are common elsewhere. Their territory must be legally recognized and protected, and all logging and other industries excluded.
Act today ([link removed])
