We look to the future with encouragement, unity and strength for our deterrence
against our external threats and for our national security as the confirmation of
the new United States Chief of the Air Force, General Charles Q. Brown was announced

General Brown has been a staunch supporter and participant with us around the world
in the recognition of leadership excellence in Soldiers, Airmen, Sailors and Marines
from the United States, and from our allies and partners, who lead missile defense
systems in making the nation and the world a safer place.

His strategic thinking, his intellectual prowess, and his technical knowledge in
both depth and breadth is at the top of the Air Force and in the world. He is at
the forefront of making the Joint All-Domain Command and Control [[link removed]]
(JADC2), his predecessor General David L. Goldfein's dream, into reality. General
Brown is on the cutting edge in thought and action in leading a generational leap
of our joint air and missile defenses in the evolution of technology of integration
of sensors, and effectors for convergence.
