The wheels on the bus don’t go round and round – thanks to the EPA’s funding freeze.
Five hundred school districts across the country are still waiting on around $1 billion in EPA funds to cover the costs of more than 3,400 electric school buses.
Trump has broken a covenant made between the federal government and these schools that rely on this funding, leaving them in the dark about their financial futures. Under-funded schools can’t wait on Trump’s reimbursements – they need that money right away to cover programming for children.
Trump’s anti-climate, anti-science crusade is putting everyone in harm's way – impacting far more than just the environment. We need leaders in Congress who will stand up to Trump and demand safer, affordable transportation for our children. Our SEEC members are doing just that, but they need your help. Will you rush a donation to uplift the vital work our climate champions are doing in Congress? [[link removed]]

Electric buses just make sense.
Not only do electric buses cut back on harmful carbon pollution, but they also protect the health of our children from dangerous air pollution and save schools over $100,000 over the course of their lifetime.
Simply put: They’re just common sense.
Our SEEC members care about the American people and the future generations of this country – that’s why they’re leading the way in Congress to support common-sense measures like school bus electrification.
Watch SEEC Member Congressmember Kathy Castor (FL-14) witness first-hand the impact the electric buses she fought for are having on her district [[link removed]] , and then chip in here to support her and her 99 other SEEC colleagues in their effort to ensure that public schools receive their promised funding from the EPA! Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
