Why Grace refuses to stay silent
Hi John,
At just 11 years old, Grace Cabrera arrived in America with nothing but
courage — and a deep understanding of what it means to live without freedom.
Raised under Castro’s communist regime, Grace watched her father be imprisoned
for preaching the Gospel. She remembers hunger, fear, and oppression. But she
also remembers the day her family fled for freedom.
Their journey to America wasn’t easy. But it was a second chance. And Grace
has never taken it for granted.
Now, she partners with Americans for Prosperity to sound the alarm: Freedom is
fragile. And you have to fight every day to ensure what happened to her family
in Cuba never happens here in America.
Grace knows: Freedom isn’t guaranteed. It’s protected — by people like YOU.
