John,

At a time when Republican members of Congress are hiding from their constituents and failing to own up to their extremist agenda, Democrats should be out talking to voters as much as possible.

That’s why a key part of my campaign is pledging to hold an in-person, in-district town hall meeting every month while I’m in Congress.

That’s the second prong of my three-part campaign pledge to fix Congress and deliver for our community.

DONATE

Whether it’s answering questions or helping with constituent services, I’ll make sure everyone in the district has access to me in a way that’s convenient for them.

Because for too long, the people in our district haven’t had a present leader.

On his own website, my opponent admits that he hasn’t hosted an in-person town hall in over five years.

Since his last in-person town hall on November 10th, 2019, Rep. Sherman has only held telephone town halls so he can stay in his $2.1 million home in Washington rather than come to the district. Even when all he had to do was pick up the phone, he only held six telephone town halls in all of 2024.

Representing people means being present, and I promise to be accessible for the people in CA-32. From wildfire relief to help with Social Security, our district deserves better — and I pledge to be there for the district.

But first, I need to get elected — and I need your help to do that. Will you pitch in to help send me to Congress to usher in a new era of leadership for our district?
