This legislative session saw both the largest budget crisis since the great recession and the chaos of the new administration in Washington — but the Moore-Miller administration stayed ready to fight for Maryland.
We fought for and are ready for Governor Moore to sign legislation that will support business growth, elevate apprenticeships, make our public schools some of the best in the country, and build our economy.
📝 We are making state contracts more accessible to small businesses through the Procurement Reform Act.
🌽 Through the Chesapeake Bay Legacy Act, we are creating incentives for Maryland farmers to incorporate best conservation practices into their farming.
🏢 We are helping Marylanders with disabilities earn more pathways to work, wages, and wealth by providing policies and resources through the Department of Disabilities through the Model Employer Act.
🏛️ The Expungement Reform Act will help the thousands of Marylanders who have served their time get a fair shot at building their future.
🔧 We are expanding access to apprenticeships for employers and apprentices through various programs established by the RAISE Act.
💪 The Protect Our Workers Act will support federal workers and create pathways for public servants to find new jobs.
🎒 The Excellence in Maryland Public Schools Act shapes our schools by recruiting more teachers and providing the necessary resources to our students.
John, this is just the beginning of our work to win this decade. We’re coming up with new solutions night and day to make sure that Maryland thrives. Will you pitch in $5 to help us with this mission?
Thanks for all that you do,
Team Moore
