Hey John, it's Chair Jeanna Repass!

Last night, thanks to the Lyon County Democrats and the 2nd CD Dems, the Kansas Democratic Party hosted a Town Hall in Kansas's 2nd Congressional District. Here are some pictures! ⤵️ 📸

As you may notice—none of our Republican federal representatives for the district showed.

We sent invitations personally, drummed up attendance for the event in the community, and brought a huge crowd of Kansans out to hear from their only representatives in D.C. and they didn't even give the courtesy of declining the invitation.

John, regardless of party affiliation, when these folks won their elections and went off to Congress, they became representatives for ALL Kansans.

But their MAGA mentality (and instruction from out-of-touch leadership), makes them think it's acceptable to leave Democrats and our Kansas-first values behind.

It's not acceptable to shut out and ignore nearly half of the state's voters, and we're not going to stand for it. But before I tell you about what we did without them, would you chip in to help us vote those out-of-touch representatives out next year?

VOTE THEM OUT

Instead, Democratic leaders from around the state showed up in CD-2 to talk to folks about how they're making progress for Kansans.

We took questions positive and negative—about the harmful policies of the Trump administration, cuts to health care and hospitals, rising pay inequality between millionaires and their workers, rising childcare costs—because Democrats are committed to showing up for Kansans, hearing their concerns, and providing meaningful solutions for them.

The best opportunity to increase the positive impact of our work on Kansans is just around the corner: voting out ineffective officials and voting in real changemakers in the 2025 and 2026 elections.

That's going to take more events like these to educate, recruit, train, and support candidates running for office, which means we have to invest early.

Today, would you join our fight for real representation at every level and help the Kansas Democrats meet folks where they're at by becoming a monthly supporter?

CHIP IN MONTHLY

Thank you,

Chair Jeanna Repass
