I’m writing to you today to tell you a hard truth about what it will take to flip this Senate seat. Hear me out, John:

North Carolina doesn’t do landslides. Two recent surveys — both done by independent, respected pollsters — say this is a one-point race. There’s no doubt in my mind this election will be a squeaker, which means everything we do will make a tremendous difference in the final outcome.

Experts believe North Carolina will be the most expensive Senate race in the country, and Mitch McConnell’s corporate donor network has already booked tens of millions of dollars in negative attacks designed to tear me down and blunt our campaign’s momentum.

Democrats cannot flip the Senate without winning this race. And we cannot win without a lot of small-dollar donations from folks like you giving whatever you can to help us fight back.

I’m personally asking you to make a contribution of any amount before our FEC fundraising deadline this month. This race is 50-50 and everything we do matters, especially as Mitch McConnell and our opponent ramp up their attacks. Pitch in today:
