Again? A group chat leak on national security, again?!?
Let’s start with the obvious: Pete Hegseth should be fired.
Hegseth has now repeatedly used unsecured Signal chats to discuss classified military operations – and those chats could be accessed by anyone, including bad actors hoping to hurt our military at any time.
As a member of the House Armed Services Committee, and representing thousands of military personnel in our district, I am deeply offended that such stupidity is leading our armed forces, and putting our active military at significant risk.
But we have a president so weak, he and House Republicans overlook all the gaffes, and cheerlead on as their “trusted” secretary shows time and again that he can’t be trusted. Our men and women in service can’t afford that risk.
Well, I’ve had enough. If they won’t do it, we will.
I am calling on Donald Trump to get rid of Pete Hegseth — before the week is out.
Hegseth has got to go. If you agree, add your name today. Our service men and women who risk their lives deserve basic professionalism from those tasked with leading them.
