Our nation is on the verge of a constitutional crisis.

The Trump administration has repeatedly defied rulings from federal courts, frozen funding allocated by Congress, and dismantled critical agencies. It has denied constitutional rights to free speech and due process and attacked journalists and universities.

Democrats cannot take a traditional approach to this moment. The Democratic National Committee must hold an emergency meeting to address the dire threat we face under this far-right administration.

The longer we fail to act, the more emboldened Trump and his allies will become. We must make it clear that we won’t allow these lawless, unconstitutional actions to go unchecked.
