John,
Breaking the law comes with consequences — unless you’re a gun dealer.

Last week, Trump ended a policy that revoked the licenses of gun dealers
who broke the law, including those who sold firearms without background
checks or falsified business records.
This is basic, common-sense accountability. You shouldn’t get to keep
selling deadly weapons if you break the laws meant to keep people safe.
And the old policy worked. In just a few years, it led to a historic spike
in license revocations for lawbreakers, slowing the flood of illegal guns
into our communities.
Now, that progress is under attack.
They’re willing to gut the most bare minimum policies because the Second
Amendment matters more to them than our right to live. That trade-off
means more illegal guns in our communities — and more lives lost.
[ [link removed] ]Chip in now to help us organize and hold the gun lobby and its allies
accountable. If they’re going to fight for gun dealers, we’re going to
fight for each other — because there’s too much at stake not to.
