Hello,

Today marks 57 years since the Equal Pay Act of 1963 was signed into law.

This landmark bill was intended to close the pay gap, but today, women in Pennsylvania still only earn about 80 cents for every dollar made by a man working the same job. Even in 2020, our work is far from finished.

Senator Casey co-sponsored the Paycheck Fairness Act in the Senate to hold employers accountable and make it harder for them to hide wage discrimination. The House has already passed a version of the bill, but Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell has refused to bring it to the Senate floor for a vote.

Will you join Bob in telling Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell to stop obstructing the Paycheck Fairness Act and make pay equity a reality? Add your name now.

Pay discrimination of any kind is completely unacceptable.

It's not only unfair and unjust to those who face discrimination -- it also deprives families of vital income that can be used to feed children, buy or rent a home, and make our communities stronger.

None of us can afford to let wage discrimination continue. Bob needs your help to ensure that the Senate can finally take action on the Paycheck Fairness Act.

Add your name now, and tell Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell: "Stop obstructing the Paycheck Fairness Act and stop wage discrimination."

Thank you,

Team Casey
