Gun violence takes lives in every part of Pennsylvania, Friend. Firearm suicides in rural communities have climbed 52 percent in the last 25 years. Shootings in cities from York to Pittsburgh to Allentown have cost the lives of our neighbors and loved ones. And, a generation of children are learning how to hide from an active shooter, instead of reading and learning math.
