The National Collaborative for Transformative Youth Policy (TYP Collaborative) believes that young people deserve more than protection from harm. We believe in a future of collective freedom, where youth can thrive in every aspect of their lives. As the government continues to target and criminalize young people, especially trans youth and youth of color, we’re doubling down on our vision: one rooted in care, community, and collective power.

We’re following young people’s leadership, redefining safety without policing and punishment, and creating the conditions for youth in particular to feel seen, supported, and free.
