Friend,

Right now, high school students across the country are getting ready to take their diplomas in hand. They worked hard, they excelled and now they’re ready to take the next step toward a bright, exceptional future by attending an HBCU.

And though many have had to persevere through underfunded high schools with a lack of institutional support or preparatory courses, their excellence and unshakeable commitment to education has still shone through. And at an HBCU, they will find the tools and support they need to build the futures of their dreams.

When you give to UNCF today, you can help talented students and their families access vital resources, overcome financial challenges and receive an education that matches their ambitions. Because UNCF doesn’t just support students in getting a college degree—we support them in building opportunities and expanding paths to success.

With so many students ready to build their future this graduation season, we’ve set an ambitious goal to raise $10,000 by 11:59 PM, April 29, to help invest in their success, and we’re counting on your help to get there.

In this uncertain world, your support toward this goal will provide bright students with a variety of resources, from scholarships, textbooks, laptops, travel assistance and supplies to food plans and internet service. Each resource will enable the brightest students to refine their skills and seize opportunities, starting from their high school graduation until the last day of their college career.

Please give what you can, because “A mind is a terrible thing to waste.”®
