This is going to cost us a lot of money

I try to be environmentally friendly. I use cloth shopping bags. I
re-use lots of things that most folks throw away. I garden, can, and
make a lot of things from scratch.

But this isn't enough for the "elite."

Isn't it hypocritical when a bunch of rich people take 114 private jets
to an island to discuss how awful the rest of us are to the environment?
Or when they tax meat for everyone else but import ostrich meat for
their fancy dinners?

Let's talk about the environmental double standards of the rich and
famous.

I'd like to say this doesn't matter, but their ideas are going to end up
costing us all a lot of money we can ill-afford, while they don't change
their lifestyles at all.

Let me know what you think in the comments.
