Power plants and other large pollution sources are jumping at a new and unprecedented policy from the Trump administration inviting them to apply for a license to pollute at will. All they have to do is send an email.

One of the first to respond was the Colstrip coal power plant in my home state of Montana. It’s one of the dirtiest power plants in the country, a major producer of soot and other toxic air pollution.

John, this is just one example of how the Trump administration is taking actions that would harm the health of people and our planet. On Earth Day, or any day, we shouldn’t have to worry about our loved ones breathing dirtier air and our kids suffering a lifetime of illness due to toxic pollution.
