This Earth Day, while families across New York are planting trees, cleaning up shorelines, and teaching kids to protect the planet, Donald Trump is launching an all-out attack on the laws that keep it safe.

At the beginning of this month, he signed an executive order targeting state climate action — and he singled out New York by name. His goal? To block us from enforcing our environmental laws, to silence our progress, and to protect polluters.

Let’s be clear: New York will not be intimidated.

Under Governor Hochul’s leadership, New York is leading the charge in the fight against climate change. We’ve passed historic clean energy investments, defended the climate Superfund law that holds polluters accountable, and co-chaired the U.S. Climate Alliance to push for bold national action.
