John, I’m running for Congress on a bold but incredibly commonsense three-part pledge.
Because our system is broken, and we need leaders who are willing to fix it.
Part one of my pledge is getting rid of corporate money in political campaigns.
As I run for office, I won’t accept corporate PAC money for my campaign.
Campaigns should be funded by people, and it's time to stop letting corporations buy influence with campaign donations.
My opponent cannot say the same: He has taken nearly $2 million in corporate money throughout his time in Congress, and he consistently votes in favor of policies that benefit those same corporations.
This part of my pledge is especially important because it means I have to count on the support from people like you to power my campaign.
While corporate donors are pumping in record amounts of cash to campaigns, I need this grassroots team to make the difference. John, please chip in what you can to help make our vision a reality in Congress.
