** What’s new at PAWS
------------------------------------------------------------
On April 29, PAWS Chicago is doing something big for some of the city’s smallest, most vulnerable residents. In just one day, our expert medical team, operations staff, volunteers, and colony caretakers will perform 200 spay/neuter surgeries on feral cats — preventing thousands of future litters and giving outdoor cats a healthier, safer life.
Spay/neuter is the single most effective way to end the killing of homeless pets. A female cat can produce up to five litters a year. Without intervention, the math—and the suffering—adds up quickly.

** You saved Pretzel
------------------------------------------------------------
Every pet deserves the chance to live without pain, feel safe, and be loved—and PAWS is determined to make that a reality.
Pretzel faced tough odds as a young puppy born with a painful leg deformity and hearing loss. Thanks to expert medical care at PAWS Chicago and a loving home, he's now thriving—and showing just how resilient pets can be when they have access to the lifesaving efforts of solutions-oriented animal welfare organizations.

Adopter-to-be Itzel Rojas wasn’t even inside our Adoption Center before she knew she had to meet him.
