We're approaching 100 days of this second Trump presidency and the assault on gun safety has been fast and blistering.

Already, Trump's administration has:

• Threatened common-sense measures that keep us safe like Engaged In the Business and Arms Brace
• Created a Second Amendment Task Force with the intent to repeal every policy that has kept us safe
• Repealed "Zero Tolerance"—a life-saving policy that revoked the licenses of gun dealers who willfully violated federal law, including those who skipped background checks

Violent crime had come down to a 50-year low because of these policies, and now all progress and safety are being threatened. But we won't let these attacks on our safety keep us down.

Fighting hard and securing important victories comes from our unified action, and these efforts continue to pay off. Our Moms Demand Action and Students Demand Action volunteers are actively working within their communities, attending advocacy days and state legislative sessions to urge lawmakers to support sensible gun regulations, while educating our base on gun safety. And the more supporters we have fighting alongside us, the closer we get to a future free from gun violence.
