Dear John,
On this Earth Day, the skies above northern Virginia need your voice.
As our local birds return from their spring migrations, they face increasing challenges: habitat loss, climate change, and environmental degradation threaten the diverse bird populations that make our region special.
At the Northern Virginia Bird Alliance, we believe that every bird matters. From the majestic Bald Eagles soaring over the Potomac to the tiny Carolina Wrens that visit our backyard feeders, our feathered neighbors enrich our lives and serve as vital indicators of environmental health.
This Earth Day, we're asking for your support. Every year, NVBA engages thousands of people throughout the region and does important work to support communities in enjoying, conserving and restoring nature.
When you protect birds, you protect the Earth. The health of our bird populations reflects the health of our planet - and there's no better day than Earth Day to make a difference.
