John, a federal judge recently declared that there is probable cause to hold Donald Trump officials in criminal contempt for refusing a court order to grant a man due process before being sent away to a prison in El Salvador.

Trump’s repeated clashes with the courts are leading some legal scholars to claim that we're already in a full-blown constitutional crisis. But I want to know what you think, John. Do you think the Trump administration is causing a constitutional crisis?

Due process is fundamental to our legal system, and the administration’s disregard for individual rights is not only shocking – it endangers us all. That’s why I’m running for Attorney General to ensure Virginians’ Constitutional rights are protected.

Make no mistake: Trump’s dismissal of civil liberties puts everyone at risk of losing their right to a fair trial, presumption of innocence, and due process under the law.
