People in New Hampshire understand that the system is not working for them.
This is a major concern for folks here in the Granite State and across the country. There are special interests and big corporations that have outsized influence in our political system. And everywhere we go, we hear from regular folks – veterans, parents, small business owners – who want real answers. Why does the system feel so rigged?
When I think about the Social Security office that’s going to be closed in Littleton and the drastic cuts to Medicaid in the name of giving tax breaks to billionaires like Elon Musk, it reminds me why I’m in this fight. Public service should be about making people’s lives better. And that’s the exact opposite of what we’re getting from Trump and national Republicans.
What’s happening in the White House is maddening – but I’m not afraid to fight back. Look at my record in Congress, where I’ve taken on Big Pharma over high prices, polluters who contaminate our air and water, and extremists who want to take our rights away.

It's important to show up and to continue to listen and learn from the people of this state because they have an important story to tell. We need to see more of that Granite State sense of common spirit in our country – and even more so in the halls of the U.S. Senate.

And in a swing state like New Hampshire, they want someone who can win. They want to know that their candidate can beat the GOP – something I have done four times in a row in one of the swingiest districts in the country.
