Greetings!

The Colorado state legislature will be wrapping up its session this week and will be debating an omnibus housing bill for COVID-19 relief. Among other things, the bill will seek to extend the eviction moratorium in Colorado, which is set to expire in mid-June, until October 15th.

Right now, developers and landlords are fighting hard against attempts to extend the eviction moratorium. If the state legislature cannot extend the eviction moratorium, there will be a flood of evictions in Colorado, and thousands of renters will be at risk of losing their housing.

We need all hands on deck TODAY to push back against landlords and developers. There will be a critical hearing TODAY in the Senate State, Veterans, & Military Affairs Committee, as early as 1:00 PM.

Please see the call and email script along with Senators who need to be contacted ***AT THIS DOCUMENT***

In Solidarity,

Mitch (he/him)
