Last week, his administration has specifically targeted America's bedrock environmental protection: the National Environmental Policy Act, which requires environmental analysis and public input on large-scale projects like freeways and pipelines. This law is not only a critical part of safeguarding our environment but it is also necessary to protecting the health of Americans. Under these changes, agencies can ignore the environmental and health impacts of proposed projects — leading to toxic air and poisoned water.
