Folks: I’ll get straight to the point: Donald Trump’s tariffs are an economic time bomb, and largest tax increase on working families in American history.

If we don’t act now, working families in Alabama will pay the price — at the grocery store, at the gas pump, and on the job. Trump’s reckless plan would drive up costs for consumers, devastate Alabama farmers through retaliation, and break the supply chains that power our state’s manufacturing base — especially in the auto industry.
