State Legislative Wins

WallBuilders’ Pro-Family Legislative Network (PFLN) is proud to share two incredible victories this session in the fight for pro-family and Biblical values. These are just a few examples of the dozens of bills advancing across the country!

Ten Commandments in Public School Classrooms

Arkansas became the second state to require the display of the Ten Commandments in every public school classroom! We assisted legislators in Louisiana, who first enacted this legislation last year.

On Thursday, Tim and David Barton, along with Audrea Decker from our team, were honored to stand alongside Pro-Family Legislative Network members Senator Jim Dotson and Representative Alyssa Brown as Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed this legislation to restore the Ten Commandments back to classrooms in Arkansas. 

This action will help ensure students understand the Ten Commandments long-standing importance in America as a foundational part of our history and traditions. David and Tim Barton had the honor of providing testimony on the Ten Commandments’ impact in America to both the Senate and House Committees. Many other states are considering similar legislation this session. We are working with legislators across the country on this issue through our Pro-Family Legislative Network. 

Civics Education Bill – Teaching Founding Fathers’ Religious Beliefs

We also helped support Representative Hope Duke’s Civics Bill, requiring the teaching of the Founding Fathers' religious beliefs and their impact on America’s founding. As a former teacher, Rep. Duke recognized the importance of educating the next generation about the Creator-endowed inalienable rights that form the foundation of our freedoms. David and Tim Barton testified in support of the bill as it passed both the House and Senate and were honored to join her as Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders signed the bill.
