Hi John,

I wanted to share the exciting news about my friend Haley Stevens who just launched her campaign to be Michigan’s next U.S. Senator. She has spent her career fighting for working families across the country and is the person we need in the Senate.

Haley and I both worked for President Barack Obama. Haley served as the chief of staff to the President’s Auto Rescue initiative. If you know Haley, you know she always puts her entire heart into her work. She spent her time working for Michigan while there was so much uncertainty. In the end, she helped save 200,000 Michigan jobs, which helped stabilize our economy.

As leaders of the Future Forum Caucus, we have been part of the next generation of leaders during our time in Congress. Our work together has been guided by our work to bridge the divide between young Americans and government, empower young voters, and inspire future leaders to serve. It is why I am enthusiastic about her candidacy.

Republicans are already coming after her in what is expected to be one of the most expensive races to decide the Senate majority.
