So far, 2025 has felt like we’re stuck in a pre-apocalyptic Hollywood film – Don't Look Up –  but the asteroid is the Trump Administration. Every day our freedoms and rights are under attack and we’re seeing the undoing of decades of environmental and climate progress. The air we breathe, water we drink, parks we love, and the planet we depend on are all at risk.

On April 8, President Trump signed an executive order designed to crush state and local actions addressing climate change.(1)  That's what we do! It's what we at the Chesapeake Climate Action Network (CCAN) have been doing every day for 23 years and we will not be crushed.
