I’m not here to protect the status quo or play politics as usual.
When The New York Times asked me how I’d tackle New York’s toughest issues, I didn’t offer vague promises or political spin. I laid out a real plan — universal child care starting at age two, real workforce housing on public land, a Youth Jobs Guarantee, and a citywide mental health system built that provides solutions to our most in need.
We’re not asking for anything outrageous — we’re demanding what we’ve earned. I’ve gone to the mat in Albany to deliver for working people, and I’m ready to take that same grit to City Hall.
Right now, every grassroots donation you make can be matched 8-to-1 with public funds. But only if we hit our qualifying threshold before the deadline. If we fall short, we leave a massive chunk of people-powered money on the table, and that’s not a risk we can take.
This is our chance to build a movement powered by working-class New Yorkers — not developers, lobbyists, or party machines. It’s mission critical that we have 372 more grassroots donors step up and contribute before Friday at 5pm to unlock matching funds. Can you chip in right now and help us unlock this match before time runs out?
Together we can prove that real leadership, backed by real people, can win.
