Happy Earth Day, John!

This is Nikki Budzkinski, the Chair of the Sustainable Energy & Environment Coalition PAC (SEEC PAC). I want to thank you for being part of this movement – at a time when so many issues require our attention and support, you’ve chosen to follow SEEC’s work!

This Earth Day, as SEEC PAC continues its 100-member strong resistance against the Trump Administration’s assaults on the environment, can I count on you to send in your first donation to power our work? [[link removed]]

Another amount → [[link removed]]I stepped up to lead our coalition at the beginning of this year, and together, we have been advocating fiercely for our Earth during an administration that is nothing less than determined to undo our progress.

It would be difficult to overstate the urgency of our fight, John. This administration has brazenly attacked:

* Critical climate research that provides us key insights into the effects of pollution, fracking, forever chemicals, rising temperatures, and beyond

* Regulations on toxic air pollution that are vital to protect air quality

* Tens of thousands of federal employees who steward our National Parks, protect Americans from extreme heat, issue life-saving weather forecasts, and more

* Tens of billions of dollars in grant money already approved by Congress to fund organizations performing critical climate work across the nation

At every turn, our SEEC members have been keeping up the fight for our environment and building a clean economy that will lower costs for families and create jobs – not eliminate them.

Whether it’s showing up in full force even when they were denied entry at the EPA by Homeland Security or pressuring Administrator Lee Zeldin to release legally obligated funding from the Greenhouse Gas Reduction Fund, our SEEC climate champions won’t bow down because they know that when it comes to protecting our climate, there are no second chances.

As we celebrate our Earth today, I hope you’ll consider funding the work being done in the halls of Congress to protect it for generations to come. It is your support that makes it possible for us to fight back and protect our Earth, [[link removed]] John. [[link removed]]

Thank you,
Rep. Nikki Budzinski
SEEC PAC Chair

Thanks to your help in 2024, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 119th Congress while we continue fighting for a sustainable future. But if you'd like to receive fewer emails, we understand.
