* *Audience:* People who receive personal care assistance (PCA), Consumer Support Grant (CSG) and CFSS services, families, providers, lead agencies and other interested parties
* *Summary:* DHS began the transition from PCA and CSG to CFSS on Oct. 1, 2024. We will provide regular updates throughout the transition.

Reminder: Webinar announcement: Culture of Safety three-day advanced online training [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* 245D-licensed providers and lead agencies, particularly people directly involved in agency oversight and leadership, incident data and response, quality assurance, licensure and risk management compliance
* *Event dates:* May 5-7, 2025
* *Summary:* The Culture of Safety three-day advanced online training covers how to use safety science principles to respond to critical incidents, engage employees in safety and improvement efforts and analyze systemic factors related to unintended outcomes.

 

Supporting new Americans in the LTC workforce grant program listening session [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Organizations that work with new Americans, LTC providers, workforce and employment organizations and other interested parties
* *Event date:* May 7, 2025
* *Summary:* DHS’ Grants, Equity, Access and Research (GEAR) Division will host a listening session to collect feedback from organizations that work with new Americans and the LTC workforce.

 

Free MTI quarterly training [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Employment and day service providers and other interested parties
* *Event date:* May 8, 2025
* *Summary:* “Increasing Confidence in Conversations about Work and Benefits” is an MTI virtual training opportunity hosted by the University of Minnesota Institute on Community Integration (ICI).

 

Training announcement: ICS Authorization and Implementation [ [link removed] ]

* *Audience:* Lead agencies, providers and other interested parties
* *Event date:* May 21, 2025
* *Summary:* DHS will offer a comprehensive two-hour training on ICS on Wednesday, May 21, 2025.
