Yesterday, I signed a letter to President Trump demanding that his administration comply with the law and with the ruling of the Supreme Court and return Kilmar Abrego Garcia to the United States.

His administration has continued to claim that Abrego Garcia is not entitled to due process, undermining the very principles of justice and human dignity. They must bring him home 👇

• ➡️ They’re operating outside of the law and defying a 9-0 Supreme Court order. Trump was supposed to be a law and order guy. Instead, this is chaos.
• ➡️ This speaks to their humanity, and their comfort with cruelty. Garcia is a member of a labor union, not a gang. A judge said that the only place he wasn’t safe was El Salvador. And their answer, “we don’t give a shit.”?!
• ➡️ This is a distraction from the fact that Trump is not doing anything to actually fix the crisis at the border. The only legislation he’s focused on is tax cuts for his billionaires.

They need to follow the law. Bring him back.
