We are proud to announce that the first openly gay major party candidate for President, winner of the Iowa Caucuses, and former South Bend Mayor Pete Buttigieg will speak at the 2020 Indiana Young Democrats Virtual State Convention on June 20th! Mayor Buttigieg will speak one week from this Saturday at 10:30 am!

IYD longs for leaders like Pete who brings with him the new perspective of our generation.”

Important Dates and Reminders:
* Any person eligible to be a member of the Indiana Young Democrats shall register and pay the annual $5 dues ([link removed]) not later than June 10, 2020 in order to be considered a member in good standing and vote at the convention. Today is the last day!!
* The deadline to request to vote by absentee ballot and cast an absentee ballot is June 17, 2020. Send requests to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Absentee%20Ballot) . If you requested an absentee ballot, an email will be sent to you starting May 30th.
* A person who resides in Indiana but cannot legally contribute to the Indiana Young Democrats may register for the convention, inform the President of their inability to contribute because of a legal prohibition, and be granted a waiver in order to be considered a member in good standing. Send requests to [email protected] (mailto:[email protected]?subject=Convention%20Waiver) .

Members of the general public may attend our convention to watch our guest speakers, participate in training sessions, and to learn more about the Indiana Young Democrats.
