Hi John,
This Earth Day, will you join us as a sustaining monthly donor?
The great state of Wisconsin is where Earth Day was born, in 1970, under the leadership of then-Senator Gaylord Nelson. In Wisconsin and across the country, people rallied for the planet, and won the creation of the Environmental Protection Agency. Read our Eye on Wisconsin interview with Tia Nelson here.
Today, we’re fending off unprecedented efforts by the Trump administration to gut the EPA, halt the transition to clean energy, decimate public lands, deny scientific research, and malign our people-powered movements – in order to further enrich and empower fossil fuel executives and megalomaniacal billionaires.
My promise to you this Earth Day is that Wisconsin Conservation Voters will not back down. We will keep fighting alongside the champions we’ve elected to office here in Wisconsin to clean up our water, deliver on Wisconsin’s clean energy plan, defend against unconstitutional power grabs, and protect our state’s natural beauty and vital ecosystems for future generations.
And so I ask you this Earth Day – will you make a commitment to stand strong with us to protect the planet? Become a monthly donor today – in this era of unprecedented attempts to halt climate action, your steadfast support matters more than ever. Your contribution supports progress in Wisconsin and helps defend our environment against Donald Trump’s extremist agenda. We can’t build the future we want without your support at every step along the way.
