Dear John

You're invited to a farewell celebration for Niall Cooper:Thursday 5 June 2025, 7pm, Zoom

Or mark this milestone by making a donation to help tackle poverty

Church Action on Poverty's Chief Executive Officer Niall Cooper is leaving this summer. For 28 years, Niall and this organisation have stood alongside people in poverty, working to reclaim dignity, agency and power together.

Niall has built partnerships across the churches, communities and the charity sector, delivering real change. He helped Church Action on Poverty take the lead in initiatives like: the Pilgrimage Against Poverty; the Debt On Our Doorstep campaign that ultimately led to regulation of extortionate high-cost lenders; the Living Ghosts campaign that mobilised churches to stand alongside people seeking sanctuary; participatory budgeting; sustainable livelihoods; community organising; Self-Reliant Groups; Your Local Pantry; Get Fair; End Hunger UK; and Let's End Poverty.
