For some of you, it’s been a while since I reached out. For others, we may have never been introduced. I’m Andrea from CADEM, and it’s great to meet you.

I’ve been heads-down here at the California Democratic Party working to plan and coordinate our mobilization effort. This includes hosting a Town Hall event in one of our most competitive swing districts, launching a massive phone banking campaign, and scaling our digital organizing efforts.

This is all so important to ensure that we’re not only reaching voters, but reaching voters on the issues that matter, and in as many ways as we can.

Our goal is that when folks go to the polls, they’re armed with the knowledge of how each candidate will address the issues that matter most to them, and where exactly each candidate stands.

Right now, one of the biggest issues we’re trying to educate voters on is the Republican plan to cut Medicaid – including Congressional Republicans here in California who support that plan.

Part of our strategy is trying to meet people where they are, which is why we don’t just rely on door knocking to connect with voters: we also organize phone banks all year long, and invest in digital organizing to get our message out online in addition to on the ground.

But none of this would be possible without the support of people like you. We win because of these mobilization efforts, but we can only keep them going with grassroots support.

We don’t just frantically reach out to voters a few weeks before the election. In fact, we have a presence in districts and start making calls long before November, so we can get the true message out there before Republicans spread misinformation.

And our strategy works – we flipped three seats from red to blue in 2024, and we’re aiming to do that again and retake the U.S. House Majority.
